You may also notice some minor scratches and scuffing. This in normal and is a byproduct of the production process.[/cs_text][cs_text]

WARNING: Never handle the stove with your hands once you have started a fire inside. The pieces become extremely hot and will burn you. Once you start the fire don’t plan on moving the stove until the fire and coals have been neutralized and you have let the stove cool down to a safe temperature to handle.

Step 2

Prepare an area that is safe for you to use your stove. Begin by preparing a 24″ x 24″ flat area that will allow your stove to sit level without any rocking or teetering. Make sure you do not place the stove on an angled surface or you risk it tipping over and causing injury or damage. Also clear out any flammable debris from this area to prevent accidental ignition.

Make sure you have a container of water or small fire extinguisher nearby in case you need to extinguish the fire.

The best fuel to use for this stove are already dried deadfall sticks and twigs about the size of a normal human finger. Collect as much as needed before lighting the fire.[/cs_block_grid_item][cs_block_grid_item title=”Block Grid Item 3″]

Step 3

Follow the instructions in the video above for complete assembly.[/cs_block_grid_item][/cs_block_grid][cs_block_grid type=”three-up”][cs_block_grid_item title=”Block Grid Item 1″]

Step 4

Once you have the stove assembled and placed on a level surface you can put your tinder bundle in the bottom of the stove. Make sure you have plenty of small sticks ready to get the fire going. I usually put a few 6″ finger sized sticks vertical and in a criss cross pattern in the stove before I light it. [/cs_block_grid_item][cs_block_grid_item title=”Block Grid Item 2″]

Step 5

After you get the initial base fire started you can stack and feed your biofuel on the ramp and insert them into the stove above the flame.

If you would like the fire to be less intense then don’t feed as many pieces of wood into the opening or only push them partially into the opening.

If you would like a more intense flame then feed the fuel all the way in until it lightly touches the back wall. You can also make sure your fuel is stacked high enough to almost fill the fuel opening (More sticks stacked in your bundle)[/cs_block_grid_item][cs_block_grid_item title=”Block Grid Item 3″]

Step 6

Every once in a while take a look at the air vent opening slot at the very bottom under the feed ramp to ensure it is not getting clogged with ash and coals. If it looks blocked simply use a small piece of wood or knife blade to gently clear the blockage to the side so air can flow freely.[/cs_block_grid_item][/cs_block_grid][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]
